Upper Austria's best ideas

Special ideas are in demand and rewarded at voestalpine because they are the driving force for many areas of the company. It is a matter of course that the voestalpine Steel Division is again providing support for the EDISON award in 2014.

The EDISON award is a two-stage idea competition dedicated to creative and innovative inventors of new technologies. The award is presented on an annual basis by the Johannes Kepler University, the University of Arts and Industrial Design in Linz and the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences.

The competition is now in its fifth year and will be awarding a total of 18,500 euros in cash prizes. Entries must be received by 28 February 2014.
