The voestalpine Steel Division celebrates its employees
Every two years, the voestalpine Steel Division gives special thanks to all its employees at the Linz location. The celebration is meant to entertain, inform and spoil the employees and their families.
Cool breeze and hot rhythms
The voestalpine employees weren't bothered by the dark clouds and cool wind and happily spent the day outside with their families. The more than 10,000 visitors at the employee celebration certainly had a great time.
Warming up was the first thing on the agenda.
The athletes in the children's and grown-ups' races as well as in the Nordic walking and cycling events weren't bothered at all by the cool weather. The voestalpine brass band heated up the atmosphere with and played lively beats as they paraded with other works bands. The voestalpine employees and their families traveled back and forth between the large tent and the celebration field. Many were interested in interviewing sports stars and management personnel of various subsidiaries, watching shows presented by the working dog unit and seeing the numerous presentation stands.
Stars as far as the eye could see
The stage performances continued non-stop throughout the day. There wasn't even a moment of boredom because everyone was busy interviewing sports stars like Marcel Hirscher, Christian Kerschdorfer or Thomas Öhler, listening to voice imitator Alex Kristan and hearing Lara Marie Krause, who especially appealed to the teenagers. The climax was at 7:00 p.m. when Die Seer took the stage. The two singers were accompanied during their first three songs by the voestalpine brass band, which was met with thunderous applause. The group then took the stage alone for the rest of the evening performance. The homey rock sounds ended the eventful festivities.
