The Steel Division and the Metal Engineering Division provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine

The Steel Division and the Metal Engineering Division have been working in partnership with the municipality of Horishni Plawni for decades. We wish to provide particular support for this region with another donation.

Horishni Plawni is located in the central Ukrainian region of Poltava on the Dnieper River. The Steel Division and Metal Engineering Division have been sourcing iron ore pellets for decades from the mining operations in this region. The region continues to be one of the main destinations for Ukrainian refugees who are fleeing inside their country. This is a very precarious situation.

The Steel Division and Metal Engineering Division have decided to support our local partners and the Ukrainian refugees in these difficult times and are making a donation of EUR 250,000 to help procure humanitarian aid supplies (medical and orthopedic equipment), medicine, food, hygiene articles, baby food) and organize accommodations for refugees.
