Success at EWEA 2013
voestalpine and partners shared a fair stand at the EWEA 2013, which was held from 4 to 7 February 2013.
The largest fair in Europe focused on the topic of wind power systems with more than 400 exhibitors and 8,000 visitors provided an updated overview of the growing markets in Europe. It was easy to recognize the strong trend in the direction of onshore applications.
Growing interest in the world's first maintenance-free lattice tower presented by voestalpine was very noticeable.
The lattice tower was developed by a project team consisting of several companies and is lighter, less expensive and easier to transport than comparable wind towers. These advantages were very convincing to the fair-going target groups without a doubt.
"It is currently the most inexpensive and most practical solution on the market," remarked voestalpine project Johann Vlcek proudly about the promising project.
