International customers and partners experience the Spirit of the voestalpine Böhler Welding Family

voestalpine Böhler Welding invited its key customers at the start of "Schweißen & Schneiden 2023" to the fascinating industrial architecture of the UNESCO World Heritage “Zeche Zollverein-Grand Hall” in Essen.

In a unique ambience and with the power of industrial architecture, voestalpine Böhler Welding recently made great moments come alive. In the presence of almost 300 key customers from all around the world, who followed our personal invitation, CEO Stefan Glanz opened the evening event.

Already at the welcome the impressions of the guests went far beyond expectation when a pyrography artist protected by Böhler Welding’s Personal Protective Equipment made portraits with sparks, fire and flame of the people present.

In the stimulating ambience of the UNESCO World Heritage building, people enjoyed the personal exchange with the global voestalpine Böhler Welding Management Team, delved into expert discussions.

The highlight of the evening presented the global product launch of the CO-BRO® GUARD, a new high-end technology cell for collaborative robotic MIG-MAG welding. This revolutionary system is based on a fully enclosed cell featuring a comprehensive and user-friendly software interface integrating the Böhler Welding equipment, the collaborative robotic arm and all the accessories.

After the CO-BRO® GUARD presentation, which received thunderous applause from our customers, Francesco Ciccomascolo emphasized:

First and foremost, the concept: The cell incorporates all of our welding know-how, which is immediately usable thanks to the intelligent and user-friendly software and the revolutionary hardware which is based on a wireless 4-key keyboard system.

Customers and the voestalpine Böhler Welding Management were delighted by the personal encounters, which, due to the pandemic, had not been possible for a long time.

All in all, it was a successful event, with international and multicultural spirit.
