Under the Surface: Franz Rosenblattl

I've been immersed in the world of welding technology for an incredible 48 years. My journey, has had me captivated by the ever-changing landscape of welding tasks and requirements driven by increasing production demands. As companies seek to enhance their operations, the importance of repair and wear protection becomes ever more crucial.

With almost five decades of experience in welding, Franz brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.

My journey began in 1975 as an apprentice at Böhler Schweisstechnik. Since then, I've had various roles, including serving as Key Account Manager for Asia and taking overseas assignments in China, Korea and Japan.

His vast experience across different regions has allowed him to master diverse challenges and demonstrate competence in welding technology.

Together, with our dedicated local employees in Brazil, we achieved remarkable success in the sugar industry in China, becoming the market leader with an impressive 80% market share. Our goal remains to establish a strong foothold in the sugar industry in China.

As the Business Development Manager for Africa and the Middle East, Franz continues to carry UTP's legacy of 70 years of experience in repair and maintenance.

This wealth of experience translates into a vast repository of references, satisfied customers and continuous innovation in our field.

Franz emphasizes that in today's welding industry, the challenge lies in meeting the demands of increasingly long-lasting products. This requires staying at the cutting edge of technology and showcasing competence through offering high-quality products.
