Welcome on board: Rookie days
Joining a new company is always exciting and involves many new experiences. You meet new colleagues, have to familiarize yourself with new company structures and often your area of responsibility also changes.
It takes some time to develop a comprehensive understanding of the new environment. At voestalpine group-IT, however, we have a special way of making onboarding easier: the Rookie Days.
This event takes place on a quarterly basis and offers new colleagues a deeper insight into voestalpine in addition to technical training in the team. The program includes a presentation of the Group and voestalpine group-IT, various departments, the Human Resource Team and the Works Council. There are also guided tours of BG 88 and voestalpine Stahlwelt, including a plant tour.
The Rookie Day on site is of course limited in time. For this reason, short, informative online appointments are also made available for all newcomers, in which important topics such as cybersecurity, corporate processes, data protection and internal systems are trained.
