I have been part of the team since September 1, 1999, initially at Böhler Uddeholm and Intesy Business & IT Solutions GmbH. After the acquisition of both companies by voestalpine in 2008, I was also involved from the beginning with the newly established group-IT.
Today, I am responsible for tasks including the creation of invoices and invoice corrections within project environments. I also handle inquiries about order statuses and invoices, internal procurement such as office furniture or maintenance extensions for licenses, as well as processing Remedy tickets for the Desktop 2 order group. A highlight for me was definitely the introduction of the project management tool bee4IT on September 1, 2021. This also optimized certain processes in invoicing.
What I like most about my job is the variety and teamwork with different departments. group-IT also offers a range of benefits that particularly appeal to me, including the option to work from home, which provides flexibility, the works council services, meal vouchers in card format, employee participation in the form of shares, and training opportunities through the Stahlstiftung.
For me, success means balancing work and family, which is not a given in every company. Success is also about consistently being good at what you do and getting the best out of yourself every day. I have found that at group-IT, and I am therefore very satisfied with my job.
