Franziska: SAP Trainee Programm

Prior to the program, I completed the part-time master's program in "Digital Business Management" and worked as a student trainee in the eCommerce area. Here I was already able to gain initial experience with SAP and became enthusiastic about it. It was soon clear to me that I wanted to pursue a career in this area, which is why I applied for the group-IT trainee program.

Above all, the international environment, varied tasks and the opportunity to work on S/4 Hana transformation projects convinced me. The comprehensive theoretical and practical SAP training and certification I received beforehand, and the mentoring system are the optimal preparation for these and other projects. The combination of work and training ensures that you can put what you've learned into practice right away and thus take on your first tasks and projects relatively quickly. So, I was part of the web shop team from the beginning and was able to implement customizing and later also small development tasks already in the first weeks and months. In addition, I took care of tickets in the SAP logistics area in the course of daily customer support.

I also like the fact that, in addition to the technical training, project management training and presentation training are also part of the training. I also appreciate the good cooperation with my colleagues, who always support me when I need help.

Even though the trainee program is not over yet and the biggest highlight, the department stay, is still to come, I can already say that it was a very enjoyable and instructive time.

I am sure that I made the right decision in choosing the group-IT trainee program, and I particularly appreciate the interaction between colleagues and superiors, as well as the wide range of tasks and the appreciation that people show me.

What I'm taking away from this time is how important it is to remain curious, to always ask questions, and that there's still a lot to learn in the SAP area even after the trainee program.

After completing my training, I would like to further deepen what I have learned and am already looking forward to many exciting tasks with SAP.
