Successful opening of the new Application Technology Centre in Spain

The grand opening of the new ATC Barcelona took place on September 26. The event began with an exciting and packed program, including an important sales partner meeting at which the management presented the company's future sales strategy. Technical sales representative, José María Miguel, together with Filippo Campaci, presented the latest innovations in consumables and Javier García talked about new welding equipment developments. Anja Saldigk then introduced the new range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and accessories that will soon be launched.

Other highlights on the agenda included the presentation of real-life success stories from two major companies, in which voestalpine Böhler Welding products were used and achieved perfect results, meeting all requirements, and the prestigious Partner Performance Program ceremony, at which high-performing distributors were awarded special trophies.

At 6:00 pm,  ATC Spain took the stage, with Thomas Platzer leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Ivo Bonello, Regional Sales Officer for South West Europe, emphasised the company's commitment to the Spanish market: "With this important investment in Spain, our voestalpine Böhler Welding Group is demonstrating its confidence in growth and cooperation with all our Spanish customers."

Attendees were then invited to tour the ATC and experience a series of live welding demonstrations, featuring voestalpine Böhler Welding's light equipment range, the new CO-BRO® Flex high-tech working station and the welding carriages wheelRunner and railRunner.

The day concluded with a special dinner, giving participants the opportunity to reflect on a successful event, having interesting conversation with partners from the industry and celebrate the exciting future ahead for voestalpine Böhler Welding and its partners in Spain.
