Böhler Welding presents full welding solutions at WIFI welding evening

On Thursday, March 5^th 220 guests attended the welding evening at WIFI Upper Austria in Linz and listened intently to the specialist lectures on welding consumables and welding machines from voestalpine Böhler Welding.

Werner Philipp, WIFI Upper Austria sums up the evening: "Thanks to the cooperation with voestalpine Böhler Welding, we were able to give the participants in today's event a very special look into today's world of welding.“

In the past few days, it has become public that voestalpine Böhler Welding has acquired a majority stake in the traditional Italian manufacturer for welding machines Selco s.r.l.. Otto Schuster, Head of SBU EQuipment declares: "By offering electrodes and welding wire together with the right welding machine from our company, we create a perfect symbiosis. This enables us to offer our customers individual complete solutions for their welding tasks."

This is how voestalpine Böhler Welding reacts to increasingly complex applications, forms itself into a full welding solution provider and is ready for the future in the industry. A guest sums up between the machines and hissing arcs: “Böhler wire and Böhler machine that fits. The welds from tonight look very convincing. A good idea to get everything from one single source [..]." The evening was rounded off with specialist discussions between visitors and the entire Austrian sales team.
