Punctual for the Tube 2018 the first version of the new myTubulars App has been published. The App is available for iOS and Android devices for free and offers useful features for customers and business partners.

On March 15, 2018, 29 Styrian companies received the coveted BGF seal of quality for their high-quality workplace health promotion. Among the excellent companies was also the voestalpine Tubulars, which received this certificate for the second time.

In 2018 voestalpine Tubulars participates again in one of the biggest and most important exhibitions for tubes. The Tube & Wire is being held on April 16-20, 2018 in Duesseldorf, Germany.

In June 2017, the state-of-the-art heat treatment line for seamless steel tubes from voestalpine Tubulars in Kindberg went into operation. With a length of more than 100 meters, it extends over three hall bays and creates additional capacity. The new plant mainly processes industrial pipes, i.e. engineering and boiler pipes as well as hollows.
