The problem

Being able to ascertain the current load status in locker management is very important. Packages are often not picked up, items are forgotten, or items are not even placed in the designated locker in the first place. Without a load detection system, the locker load status cannot be recorded by software tools that rely on conventional loading and unloading routines.

The solution

The solution is tfs technology. The tfs capacitive sensor system is integrated into the shelf floor of the parcel station and detects any load in the locker. Signals are processed by the Variocube software. This real-time data makes it possible to release lockers more quickly and increase turnaround.

Once the prototype is produced, it is tested thoroughly before being added to the official product catalog of Variocube.
