DRIVING SUSTAINABILITY FORWARD
ZF Friedrichshafen is a global technology group with more than 160 production sites in over 30 countries. The company manufactures transmissions for cars, trucks and buses. ZF originally became known for its 8- and 10-speed automatic transmissions and is now the leading transmission manufacturer for both internal combustion engines and electric motors.
It's great that ZF transmissions not only power vehicles, but also a green future.
CONSISTENCY IN A (CLIMATE) CHANGING WORLD
Since its founding in 1915, ZF has developed from a specialist supplier to the aviation industry into a renowned mobility technology group. A strategic partnership between ZF and voestalpine has existed since 1983, i.e. for over 40 years.
The recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) shows that ZF will continue to rely on voestalpine in the future, namely on voestalpine premium quality in the greentec steel edition.
greentec steel edition products have a reduced carbon footprint and pave the way toward climate neutrality—an ambitious goal that ZF wants to achieve by 2040. Its a good feeling to be pursuing the same goals—and even better to be pursuing them together.
When a partnership has existed for over 40 years, you could say it's "going well" ;-). Signing the MoU shows that solid partnerships are strong drivers of climate protection and decarbonization.
