We manufacture various advanced shock absorber tubes at our voestalpine Rotec facilities in Austria, Poland, Germany, and Mexico. In fact, just in November, our site located in Monterrey, Mexico, launched mass production of the new intermediate tube. Designed to withstand high oil pressures and ensure smooth piston operation, it is a testament to our dedication to cutting-edge engineering.
Customized Alloy
Through a collaborative effort with our headquarters' R&D department, we have developed a specialized alloy for the new intermediate tube, ensuring exceptional performance and durability. The steel tube is expertly drawn in Krieglach, Austria, before being cut, formed, and machined at our German site in Annweiler, or in Monterrey for the North American market.
Leading Automation
Our fully automated production lines, developed and built in-house at the Rotec Engineering Center in Annweiler, ensure efficiency and consistent quality throughout every step of the process.
International Collaboration
Thanks to the seamless teamwork between our Austrian, German, and Mexican colleagues, we have successfully completed the installation of our new intermediate tube line in Mexico. The manufacturing of these high-precision parts is now in full swing at our North American site.
