Alexander Zlatnik
Since 2005, Alexander Zlatnik has worked with voestalpine Rail Technology. In addition to research and development, technical customer service, and heat treatment technology, he has experience in a number of other areas as well. He has always been accompanied by welding technology. He expanded Campus Donawitz (Competence Center Welding) starting in 2015 and turned it into a service department for both internal and external customers. His knowledge includes theoretical training, rail metallurgy, and all rail welding techniques.
Reinhard Ebenhofer
Reinhard Ebenhofer has been employed in the rail welding industry, for 23 years. Prior to joining voestalpine's Competence Center Welding in 2015, he had 14 years of professional experience in track welding as the technical manager of an Austrian welding company for aluminothermic and manual welding processes. Among other things, Reinhard Ebenhofer is in charge of the homologation of welding procedures and the accreditation of CWW testing facilities.
Michael Pötsch
Michael Pötsch has worked as a welder for 6 years and as a welding project manager for 2 years at a welding company in Austria. His profile is completed by Level 2 in MT, VT, PT, and UT. Michael Pötsch leads welding training sessions on-site and at Campus Donawitz (Competence Center Welding), monitors test installations of new rail grades in the track, and creates a variety of rail welds for R&D and customer projects.
Gerhard Peinhaupt
Gerhard Peinhaupt has more than 30 years of experience as a track welder, specializing in manual joint welding, aluminothermic joint welding, and rail and turnout repair. He is responsible for practical and on-site training and at the Campus Donawitz (Competence Center Welding), examines test installations of new rail grades in the track, and produces a variety of welded joints for R&D and customer projects.
