The presentation by the Railway Systems Academy, represented by our Vice President Bernd Hinterleitner, also attracted significant interest. In numerous discussions, the crucial role of targeted employee training was highlighted as a key factor in maintaining and increasing company performance.

The most frequently mentioned and requested training topics were track infrastructure asset management, turnout training and maintenance training. It is not only the skills of the workforce that are critical, but also the knowledge of how to operate the used systems safely and efficiently of the used railway systems. A well-trained workforce is essential if the full potential of modern railway technology is to be realised. Discussions with visitors from the railway industry also confirmed the importance of tailoring training programmes to the specific needs of the training participants.
