voestalpine Nortrak receives Richard F. Timmons award
voestalpine Nortrak has received an award for hiring veterans from the American Short Line & Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA).
The inaugural Richard F. Timmons award was recently presented to Julie Sisett, Director – Human Resources, and Ken Ouelette, VP Marketing & Corporate Development, at the 102nd annual ASLRRA convention in Orlando, Florida.
Sisett explained that many Nortrak employees have served in the Military, National Guard or Reserves, and that the attributes that they developed during this service have been very complementary with Nortrak’s culture. She added ‘’We have a strong commitment to hiring veterans that serve and protect their country. Many of our employees with military experience have shown us their leadership, commitment, loyalty and high quality work.”
