On November 9^th the employees at voestalpine Nortrak Inc.’s Decatur foundry achieved one year with no recordable injuries.  Additionally, the foundry has gone over two years without a lost time injury.  This safety performance is World Class with respect to not only the foundry industry but heavy manufacturing in general.   This accomplishment is the result of the employees continuing commitment to working safely every day.   Their participation in Residual Risk Reduction teams and the implementation of Behavior Based Safety principles have created a culture of continuous safety improvement.  In recognition of their excellent performance the plant celebrated by hosting a steak dinner for all 167 employees on November 20^th.

voestalpine Nortrak Decatur had 42 employees or family members who participated in the Scareport 5K.
