    voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak LLC, a North American leader in railway technologies and system solutions, has partnered with Sonneville AG headquartered in Müntschemier, Switzerland, a well-known innovator in slab track vibration solutions. This collaboration aims to further commercialize Sonneville's patented Low-Vibration Track (LVT) System in the United States and Canada. It reflects the expertise and commitment of both companies to meet the growing demand for reduced track noise pollution and enhanced passenger comfort through effective vibration attenuation.

    By leveraging Nortrak’s capacity and manufacturing expertise for concrete ties and market reach, this strategic partnership aims to introduce Sonneville’s innovative LVT System to a wider audience and provide integrated end-to-end rail infrastructure solutions. The collaboration is designed to increase the product's availability, ensuring it reaches key markets where its benefits can be most effectively utilized.

    Sonneville's LVT Systems have been in use around the globe for over forty (40) years and are engineered for superior durability and vibration attenuation resulting in reduced track maintenance and a minimized impact on the surrounding environment. Their innovative design allows for easy installation and virtually maintenance free, making them a hassle-free choice for any non-ballasted project.

    This collaboration effectively combines the capabilities of two technology leaders in the industry bringing together Nortrak's strong manufacturing expertise and market presence with Sonneville's cutting-edge products, enabling customers to access advanced solutions that address the vibration and spatial challenges of tomorrow's urban landscapes.

    Metal Engineering Division
