BBQ party: Reunion after 874 days.
After a whopping 874 days of pandemic-related break since Christmas 2019, voestalpine group-IT finally reunited to celebrate at Stahlwelt Linz on May 12, 2022. The weather matched the grandiose mood.
At 26 degrees and bright sunshine, the seats under the sunshades quickly filled up with the nearly 500 guests in the early afternoon - the joy of reunion was huge! Cold drinks, ice cream and the wind - which almost made an umbrella fly - cooled the guests down!
The new employees (142 people since the end of 2019) quickly found each other with the long-time ones and exchanged lively ideas. Across locations and departments, people danced together, chatted, ate well, took a party photo or two and toasted. Special highlights were the personal words of the management - Rainer Jagoutz, Günter Kirsch and successor Markus Grabner as well as the speeches of the representatives of the Human Resource Management and the Works Council. The beer tapping and the pub quiz also put everyone in a good mood: congratulations once again to the winners!
The party went on until the early hours of the morning - the barbecue exceeded expectations after the long break and guaranteed anticipation for the reunions that will soon be held on a regular basis again.
