The world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery, construction vehicles and equipment took place again in 2022: With 3,000 international exhibitors from 58 countries on a floor space of more than 600,000 square meters, it was bigger and better than ever before. Roughly 500,000 visitors attended the 33rd World's Leading Trade Fair for construction machinery in Munich from 24 to 30 October 2022 and gained insights into the most promising innovations in the industry. The voestalpine Steel Division was joined by voestalpine Krems, Sadef and Profilafroid and presented the latest machinery developments.
It was all about digitalization and sustainability at bauma 2022, from the design of the trade fair stands to the most frequently asked questions by visitors about leading topics at the trade fair that were explained in detail in numerous lectures, presentations and panel discussions by experts from industry, science and start-ups and were presented in five thematic areas:
The booth of the voestalpine Steel Division was well attended: Under the motto "Sustainable in every element," product innovations, future technologies and more were presented along with CO2 reduction in the production of high-strength steel, weight savings based on lightweight design, exhibits of voestalpine partners and culinary goodies at the Austrian Night for exclusively selected customers.
