Die Lange Nacht der Forschung 2024T, Europe's largest research event, took place at our sites in Austria under the motto "Sustainability - greentec steel". Products and solutions made of wire could be experienced up close in our production facilities. Numerous visitors did not miss this opportunity.

Throughout Austria, universities, research institutions, competence centers and innovative companies opened their doors and provided a glimpse behind the scenes of science and research.

voestalpine Wire Rod Austria and voestalpine Wire Austria in Styria, Austria, took part in "Der Langen Nacht der Forschung" on May 24, 2024, together with other voestalpine companies. In addition to plant tours, interested visitors were offered numerous culinary and content-related highlights. Interested parties were able to attend presentations on greentec steel quality products and voestalpine's strategy, including a step-by-step plan for green steel and wire production, and gain exclusive insights behind the factory walls of the expert in quality wire production. The varied program also included competitions, creative stations, etc.

We are very pleased with this successful event and, above all, that we were able to inspire all age groups for tech.
