At the end of April, the world steel association „worldsteel” held its "Steel Safety Day".
The aim of this day is to raise awareness of the health and safety of employees in the steel industry and to continuously make the working environment safer. Because safety counts - every single day!
Steel Safety Day is an annual event to highlight the importance of occupational health and safety in the steel industry. The aim of Steel Safety Day is to promote awareness and commitment to a safe working environment and to ensure that employees in the steel industry worldwide can work safely.
At the voestalpine Wire Italy site in Nervesa della Battaglia, an employee action day was held to mark Steel Safety Day. Employees took advantage of the opportunity to obtain information and further training on aspects of occupational safety at several information booths.
Safety at work is essential: the special focus on the physical and mental well-being of our employees is an additional aspect to inspire, motivate and engage talented professionals in our company.
