Steel Safety Day is an annual event to highlight the importance of occupational health and safety in the steel industry. The aim of Steel Safety Day is to promote awareness and commitment to a safe working environment and to ensure that employees in the steel industry worldwide can work safely.
At the voestalpine Wire Italy site in Nervesa della Battaglia, an employee action day was held to mark Steel Safety Day. Employees took advantage of the opportunity to obtain information and further training on aspects of occupational safety at several information booths.
