By perfectly aligning Italfil’s premium welding wires with voestalpine Böhler Welding’s welding machines and accessories, the company advances significantly in its offering of Full Welding Solutions and providing ‘The Perfect Weld Seam’ to its customers.
Founded in 1978 by Carlo Gasparetto and Fiorella Cattin, Italfil SpA specializes in producing filler metals for MIG/MAG, SAW, and TIG welding processes. The company has an excellent reputation on a global level for its R&D in material technologies and consistent product quality.
Italfil’s joining voestalpine Böhler Welding will have no impact on the ongoing business relation with customers and partners of Italfil SpA or voestalpine Böhler Welding - all contact points, commercial terms, and service levels will remain unchanged.

Mrs. Cheti Gasparetto and Mr. Davide Rocco will lead Italfil SpA as Managing Directors. Mr. Giuseppe Gasparetto will continue to drive product, quality, and process development. Mrs Fiorella Cattin will continue to manage the Italian market for Italfil. Mr. Carlo Gasparetto will become Honorary President and support the company’s further development with his extensive experience.
