Our UTP-Portfolio – Proven under the toughest conditions

To understand why we have adjusted the UTP portfolio, it is worth looking at the big picture within our voestalpine group. A clear and unambiguous link between category brands and product programs offers our partners and customers an important advantage, namely a simple and comprehensible selection of the right product depending on the application.

With our product policy, we pursue the goal of bringing together the most important areas of competence represented by individual category brands for the benefit of our customers. 

With regard to our UTP brand, we would like to give you a quick overview of all product categories and the new naming structure within the portfolio so that you can find the right products for your specific applications and requirements.

The product names in the Surface Protection area will be given a new and unambiguous name structure assigned to the process. The new name structure is intended to simplify product selection and will replace the old name structure. The so-called surface protection product family will receive a new and unique name positioning.

The corrosion protection family includes two main areas which are the products for nickel cladding and the second area is strip cladding. The nickel cladding products are a comprehensive portfolio of products for different cladding processes SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW and also SAW for corrosion protection of different components. Here the known product names from UTP and Thermanit remain unchanged.

The second big area is strip cladding with our well known portfolio of strips and fluxes for electroslag strip cladding.
