An overview of an autumn trade fair marathon

In the current business year 2023/2024, voestalpine Tubulars will be exhibiting its product highlights at a total of 9 trade fairs, four of them in the autumn season.

How does a decision to participate come about?

The first step is to analyze a trade fair in consultation with the management, sales, business development & strategy and corporate projects departments.

It is examined whether and to what extent the focus and objectives of a trade fair complement the positioning, markets and product categories of voestalpine Tubulars. Once the decision to participate in a trade fair has been made, numerous organizational activities are initiated to make the trade fair participation possible.

In addition to the organizational tasks around the booth, the marketing appearance of voestalpine Tubulars at a trade fair is particularly important. This includes the preparation of content for the exhibition program, the use of social media channels, post-event coverage and any additional measures such as magazine advertisements, sponsoring or customer events.

Each trade show organization has its own challenges, as each country has its own specific guidelines that need to be met.

The following trade show appearances kept the Tubulars team busy in the autumn of 2023:

Offshore Europe - Accelerating the transition to a better energy future

The first event was Offshore Europe in Aberdeen, Scotland. This year, the focus was on accelerating the energy transition. We were one of about 800 exhibitors and mingled with about 30,000 visitors from 70 countries.

Hydrogen Technology Expo is a solutions-oriented forum to discuss the development of new technologies to meet these technical challenges and bring hydrogen into the mainstream for stationary and mobile applications.

About 15,000 visitors could inform themselves about our products at our booth 5 C110.

The trade fair team reported on an upcoming trade fair, which offers us as a company a good opportunity to get an insight into the market trends and the general market situation of this future-oriented business field. The colleagues could also have interesting and informative discussions with potential customers and other companies.

AOG Buenos Aires

Approximately 26,000 visitors attended the Argentina Oil & Gas Expo, which took place from 11. to 14. September 2023 at La Rural Predio Ferial in the heart of Buenos Aires.
For voestalpine Tubulars, it was the first trade fair appearance in this region where the local team could present our products.

We were all surprised by the high quality of visitors and the size of this trade fair. For us as a company, it was also very valuable to be present in this region and to make important contacts.

ADIPEC 2023 - "Decarbonize. Faster. Together."

This year's ADIPEC is all about decarbonization. With our premium threaded connections we were again represented this year at booth 9536 in hall 9.

Our goal is to make a significant contribution to the energy transition.

As one of the largest oil and gas exhibitions, ADIPEC has been one of the most important events for many years. Once again this year, voestalpine Tubulars was able to welcome long-standing customers and partners in person at its booth. Each day exceeded the previous one in terms of visitor numbers, which also benefited the stand. The team conducted one interesting conversation after the other and presented the products to a broad audience.

On a global level, we have succeeded in clearly positioning the voestalpine Tubulars brand in the high-price segment of premium products and in presenting our commitment to social responsibility and climate protection. Our local teams have deepened existing contacts and developed new business opportunities.
