The new production flow video from voestalpine Tubulars shows the manufacturing process of seamless steel tubes, starting with the raw material which is mainly obtained from voestalpine Stahl Donawitz, through to the end product, tailor-made to the customer’s requirements. In the 3 big forming steps cross roll piercer, push bench and stretch reducing mill, the raw material (cast billets) turns into the seamless steel tube. Referring to the application and customer wish there are further more steps and processes the tube passes through.
