The annual information event for our employees recently took place at the Kindberg site. Over 500 interested colleagues came to the automotive hall to find out about the latest developments at Group and division level and at voestalpine Tubulars.
The event, which was once again very well attended this year, began with a welcome and moderation by Günter Angerer, who provided seamless and entertaining accompaniment throughout the afternoon with his wit and charm.
A central topic of the information event was the employee share ownership program in the company. Johannes Pointer, Managing Director of voestalpine Mitarbeiterbeteiligung Privatstiftung, explained in detail the various aspects and advantages of employee share ownership and provided information on the various points of contact for questions voestalpine employees might have.
This was followed by an informative speech by our Technical Managing Director Gerald Gfrerer, who presented the results and highlights of the 2023/24 financial year. He particularly emphasized the successes achieved and the positive economic development. He also gave an outlook on future projects and the company's strategic direction for the coming years.

After the informative part of the event, the buffet was opened. The culinary delicacies were very popular with all participants and provided the perfect opportunity to exchange ideas in a nice atmosphere and bring the event to a close.
A particular highlight of the employee information event was the raffle under the motto "Recharge your batteries". Countless winning cards with correctly answered quiz questions fluttered into the prize boxes before the draw at 2:30 p.m., as many colleagues took the opportunity to win one of the attractive prizes.
The high level of participation and the positive feedback on the event underline the strong interest and loyalty of our employees to the company. It is gratifying to see that our efforts to promote transparency and participation have met with such a positive response.
