Changes to standards for proprietary grades valid from January 1st 2025

The following changes to API 5CT are effective from 01.01.2025. All changes and current designations are adapted and updated in our brochure and color coding list and can be downloaded here.

Changes to standards:

Grade L80-3Cr has been included in the API standard grades, which means that it is no longer necessary to maintain the proprietary grade VA-L80-1-3CR. In the catalogue and in the color coding list, the proprietary grade is therefore removed and replaced by the API grade.
Some grades have also been renamed in the new standard - C90-1 is now C90, T95-1 is now T95 and Q125-1 is now Q125. This is also reflected in the naming of our proprietary grades.
Additional tests (oblique defect tests) have also been introduced in the production of some grades.
