Representatives of voestalpine Tubulars 2022 completed a veritable trade fair marathon at a total of five fall trade fairs on a wide variety of topics.
Rio Oil & Gas represented the company's prelude to a total of five fall trade show appearances on different continents and on various key topics.
Around 40,000 visitors were recorded at the Rio Oil & Gas Fair, held September 26-29, 2022 at Pier Maua in the heart of Rio de Janeiro.
More than 350 exhibitors presented their products and services for the entire value chain of the oil and gas industry on more than 51,000 m² of exhibition space. With a total of more than 550 technical presentations, this event was the largest platform for the oil and gas industry in Latin America.

Around 1,800 visitors attended Africa Oil Week, which was held in Cape Town from October 3 to 7, 2022. This makes this event the largest platform for the oil and gas industry in Africa. Over 500 companies from more than 80 countries were represented at this trade show as exhibitors and visitors to exchange information on products and services for the entire value chain of the oil and gas industry.

With around 3,000 visitors and around 150 exhibitors from a total of 50 countries, the World Hydrogen Congress, which was held in Rotterdam on October 11 and 12, 2022, was a comparatively small event in the European region. But due to the focus on hydrogen, it was nevertheless essential for voestalpine Tubulars, as the company already has the first solutions for hydrogen storage to offer, such as pipes with the hydrogen-tight threaded connection VAhyper, which have already been successfully used in a cavern project in the Netherlands.
Special grades for line pipes are also ready for the market.

The 11th INTERNATIONAL Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Conference & Exhibition, which took place in Šibenik from October 17 to 19, 2022, brought together decision-makers from the oil, gas and renewable energy segments in the Mediterranean region. voestalpine Tubulars was able to present its tailor-made innovations for this market, including VAsuperior®-ET, a threaded connection that is already popular in the USA and also has the right product properties for applications in Europe, as well as VAhyper® - the company's new, hydrogen-tight threaded connection.

With 160,549 participants:inside and 2,200 exhibitors:inside on 140,000 m², the ADIPEC exhibition, held in Abu Dhabi from 31 October to 03 November 2022, is the largest trade fair for the oil and gas industry in the Middle East.
It marked the end of the series of trade fair appearances by voestalpine Tubulars in 2022. voestalpine Tubulars was represented at the trade fair stand together with voestalpine Böhler Bleche, and a customer event was again organized together with voestalpine Grobblech.
Thus, voestalpine Tubulars was able to present there the tailor-made innovations for this market, including VAsuperior®-DryTec®, the threaded connection with dry (grease-free) thread coating, which has the appropriate product properties especially in sand-covered areas in the Middle East.
