During a guided tour of the tube mill lasting approx. 1 to 1.5 hours, you will gain an insight into the production of our seamless steel tubes as well as an overview of our products and their applications. Customers, high school classes, students, suppliers, but also other groups of interested people always like to come to the company to get an idea of our production and to learn more about steel, tubes and technologies in this context.
As we drive developments forward and keep our production at the cutting edge of technology, visitors are happy to come back after some time to see what has been done since their last visit to us. In any case, we can promise participants one thing: the tours are always an experience and an exciting and educational experience for young and old alike.
On request, we can also organize complementary tours of other areas of the plant.
Please note the minimum age of 16 years, which is generally required for access to the plant premises. For taster afternoons, events or generally younger groups, there are exceptions on request with special safety regulations or, if necessary, short guided tours in other areas of the company.
We would like to point out that it can sometimes be very warm in some areas of the plant, especially during the warm season. As we are walking directly through the production area, there are also a few shorter staircases to climb and descend.
For the tour itself, you will need sturdy shoes and long-sleeved, preferably darker clothing.
Helmets, hearing protection and other protective equipment can be obtained directly from us on site.
