Dura Vermeer Railinfra, in cooperation with voestalpine Railpro, has successfully installed a track termination construction - also known as a buffer stop - at the Sportlaan in Schiedam. Our buffer stops can absorb an impact of more than 1000 kN, without damaging the train or the buffer stop itself. We are talking about the Fixstop OK, which will replace all other Fixstops in the Netherlands. The Fixstop OK, in contrast to the first Fixstop model, contains a centre coupling buffer that is specifically designed for the connection of passenger trains.
