Metalservice SpA was founded in 1989 in Cittadella (PD) as Joint Venture between Italian steel service network Gruppo Gabrielli (60%) and Austrian steel maker voestalpine (40%). The scope was developing the distribution of flat carbon steel products particularly for the household appliances market. 

Today more than 300.000 tons per year are delivered from its service centers in Cittadella and Vicenza to customers in the segments of household appliances, automotive, processing industry, and electrical industry. As one of Europe’s most efficient steel service centers, the slitting, cut-to-length and blanking lines provide the possibility to supply high quality slit strip and sheets of cold rolled, hot dip galvanized, aluminised, electrogalvanized, aluzinc and non grain oriented electrical steel. 

The high quality of the product, combined with an excellent just in time delivery service and the availability of green steel solutions at reduced CO₂ footprints ensure the service level needed by clients today.
