C17200 BeCu / Alloy 25

C17200 Beryllium Copper (BeCu), also commonly known as Alloy 25, combines high strength with non-magnetic and non-sparking qualities. It has excellent metal working, forming, non-galling, and machining qualities.  Since they do not trade high strength for conductivity, they are well suited to address the challenges in connectors and other harsh-environment components. Strength, conductivity, ductility, corrosion resistance, machinability, and low friction properties make BeCu alloys ideal for downhole directional tools including MWD/LWD housings, drill bit bearings, subsea actuator stems, subsea xmas trees, connectors/contacts, and assisted lift pumps. vSM stocks Alloy 25 bars between 0.750″ – 5.500″OD and Alloy 25 tubing in various configurations.
