voestalpine Signaling Austria GmbH is part of the voestalpine Railway Systems Group, the world-market leader in railway systems and produces drive, locking and detection systems. This is where we develop individually combinable products as well as complete system solutions in combination with innovative force transmission systems. Another core competence lies in the monitoring of fixed assets.

We have developed a world leading range of monitoring solutions which provide our customers with the tools to implement smarter maintenance practices and prevent asset failures.     2003: New owner of the VAE group: voestalpine – Division “Bahnsysteme”

    2004: Enlargement of the VAEE HYTRONICS business unit with the companies CONTEC and SST

    2005: Automation in HYTRONICS production and focus on complete turnout systems, including drive and safety technology

    2006: TENS is integrated into the company in the HYTRONICS division

    2008: Inclusion of the UK company CDSRail, specialising in diagnostic systems for fixed asset monitoring

    2011: VAE Eisenbahnsysteme GmbH splits up into voestalpine Weichensysteme GmbH and voestalpine HYTRONICS GmbH

    2014: Rebranding/renaming of voestalpine HYTRONICS Group in voestalpine SIGNALING

    2020: Bundling of all voestalpine competencies related to railway infrastructure in the new business division "Railway Systems" - voestalpine Signaling as part of the voestalpine Railway Systems Group.
