It all started in 2017 with a pilot project in Austria. The goal was to support ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG in monitoring their rolling stock with a checkpoint installed in Oberaich, Styria. The system proved to be so successful that 49 additional locations in Austria followed. Soon, international attention followed, and Checkpoints have since been delivered to Bulgaria and Slovenia, with Croatia and Mexico joining the list in 2024.
