Tram switches are made for different types of grooved rail profiles (e.g., 60R1, 60R2, 62R2, etc.) and material grades (e.g., R260, R290HT and R340HT) and track gauges. Consists of a point blade and frog units. They are equipped with two flexible point blades whose wedge-shaped fasteners make them easy to replace.
The switches can be supplied on oak switch sleepers or for embedding on concrete foundation. They can be delivered with automatic or manual drive. Switches can be equipped with heating elements (2 or 4 pieces).
We offer also automatic switch control cabinets (for control of switches, heaters, overhead switches and other elements), and they can be equipped with various types of additional elements and sensors. Independent heating control is also available for heating elements in switches with a manual switch.
Tram track repair switches
Repair/ temporary switches are also made, and they can be installed on top of the existing tracks and can be used to redirect tram traffic between two parallel tracks during repair work.
