wisconstrip butcher bandsaw strip steel is used to manufacture narrow bandsaw blades for the meat cutting industry. The strip is produced from especially clean heats of raw material designed to help the product withstand the extreme loading conditions found in this application. All stages of production from the melt shop through the breakdown of the finished goods into matched sets of small coils is controlled and monitored through ISO 9002 certified procedures.
The demands are quite extreme as the application involves high volume cutting under demanding conditions including sawing through bones. Also when sawing meat a clean smooth surface is necessary which place tight requirements on strip geometry and uniform structure.
