Tool development and production
In-house expertise is our key asset in the manufacture of tools.
Because we know what is needed in the production of steel tubes and sections.
Our tools ensure the highest quality. The interaction between engineering, toolmaking and production means that they are constantly being further developed and innovations initiated. They are manufactured at the Krems site.
Every year, 9,000 new tool rolls are required. They are manufactured from tool steel, hardened and subsequently reground.
Punching tools consist of column guides, punching units, punches and dies. They are designed to be interchangeable.

Punching tools & tool rolls
We have a lot in stock for a wide range of applications and products, because wherever the highest quality is required, the corresponding tools are also needed. Up to 12 punching tools can be in use on a roll forming line.

- Punches and dies: over 5,000 pieces
- 125,000 tool rolls in stock - equivalent to a weight of 2,250 tons
