The Steel Division is supplying high-quality electrical steel to ENERCON for wind farms in Burgenland.
ENERCON has been one of the world's leading manufacturers of wind turbines for more than 30 years and is a long-standing customer of the voestalpine Steel Division. We supply ENERCON with various grades of our isovac® brand electrical steel.
ENERCON recently received an order from energy supplier Burgenland to supply 51 wind turbines of different ENERCON types to seven wind farms in Burgenland. The Steel Division will supply 1000 tons of electrical steel to ENERCON for this order. Our electrical steel is used in the generators of wind turbines. Construction began last summer.
