Employees as co-creators

We foster a culture of continuous improvement, which we integrate into our daily work. Our employees are actively involved in shaping their own areas of responsibility. In this way we create a high level of identification with the company.

Health and safety

The health and safety of our employees is a clear obligation for us and has the highest priority. In all areas of work, we raise awareness and motivate employees to take appropriate safety measures and to comply with them conscientiously.

Workplace health promotion (physical and mental) is offered individually in each company and ranges from nutrition and coaching to active participation in sports events throughout the company.

Employees as co-owners

Our employees participate in the success of the company. Through a unique employee share ownership model, 14.5% of the share capital of the parent company voestalpine AG is in the hands of the workforce.

Apprentices & trainees

We invest in the future: The High Performance Metals Division trains its own apprentices at all major sites. Skilled workers at our own training facilities are the basis of our success. They turn good into perfect products. In addition to sound technical training, we also offer the development of personal skills and social competences such as working in teams, taking responsibility and communication skills.

Apprenticeships in Austria and Germany

Our companies train apprentices at the highest level. You can find the current apprenticeships at the various companies in Austria and Germany as well as vacancies on our apprenticeship website:
