The average age of male employees at voestalpine is 41.9 years, and of female employees 40.2 years. The traditionally low percentage of women has been continuously increased over the past years. Today, 14 percent of voestalpine managers are women, while amongst younger professionals this figure is around 17 percent. voestalpine is implementing targeted measures to increase this figure further. Women at voestalpine work in a wide variety of technical areas, such as production, research, quality control, and automation.
