The 150-year success story began with the acquisition of the "Bruckbacher Hütte" rolling and forging plant by the brothers Albert and Emil Böhler at today's voestalpine BÖHLER Profil site in Bruckbach. Together with other production sites, the Sophienhütte and the Gerstlwerk, Bruckbach formed the basis for the BÖHLER Ybbstalwerke for many years, from which today's voestalpine BÖHLER Profil and voestalpine Precision Strip emerged. The companies were integrated into the voestalpine Group in 2007.

A big thank you goes to our employees, who have made the international success story from the Lower Austrian Ybbstal possible with their high level of commitment and know-how and will continue to do so.

The next generation of skilled workers will be prepared for the processes and procedures of a digitalized working world using state-of-the-art technologies.
