23 September 2024 |

Held every two years at the Berlin Expo Center, InnoTrans is considered the most important international trade fair in the transport technology sector. As the world’s leading supplier of complete railroad infrastructure systems, voestalpine Railway Systems will be present once again at this year’s event taking place between September 24 and 27. The Group will be presenting its entire portfolio for all types of rail transport, including mixed traffic, urban traffic (trams/metro/urban rail), high-speed traffic, and freight traffic at an exhibition stand 1,000 m² in size. The focus will be on further increasing availability, the associated optimization of life cycle costs, and the digitization of the railroad track using intelligent diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis systems for more effective planning of maintenance work, and the time and cost savings associated with this.

The exhibition stand will showcase the various product and service solutions of voestalpine Railway Systems over two levels. The voestalpine Group provides both system hardware (rails, turnouts, fastening systems, sleepers) and digital solutions for monitoring the condition of railway tracks using diagnostic and monitoring technologies under this umbrella.

Intelligent diagnostic and monitoring systems

voestalpine’s appearance at the trade fair will once again be focused on digitization in rail travel. The Group offers rail operators a customizable and fully digitized diagnostic and monitoring solution aimed at supporting 24/7 route availability. In addition to the sensors integrated in the track or at checkpoints, this solution also records status data in real time, transmits this to the analysis software, and displays the results in clear dashboards without any time delay. This continuous monitoring of the system condition enables faults to be detected at an early stage and allows any required maintenance measures to be initiated promptly.
