Silke: Combining study, work and success

I became aware of group-IT through the voestalpine job portal, where I applied for an internship. I have some acquaintances who work at voestalpine, so I knew that an internship at group-IT would give me valuable experience.
My first steps and tasks at work were very diverse. During the internship, I created service reports and Corona compensation applications, as well as planned and implemented the "Future IT Tour" project. Since working here alongside my studies, my tasks have become even more varied. I've been involved in designing the website, helping to plan various activities such as a photo shoot for new images on the website or creating content such as projects and company history, and conducting interviews with testimonials.
What I like most about my job is working with my colleagues. They always involve me and keep me up to date. This makes me feel fully involved, even though I'm not a full-time employee. I am given responsibility and trust and can gain valuable experience.
A highlight for me was participating in this project. It is great to be able to participate in the redesign of the website as a student and to experience the entire process from planning to implementation of the project.
At group-IT, I especially appreciate the flexibility with flextime and home office, as I was looking for a part-time job that was easily compatible with my university hours. There are also many options when it comes to food - you can go to the canteen or to one of the Caseli stores.
