I have been part of the team at group-IT since March 2022 and became aware of the position directly via the voestalpine job portal. Group-IT bundles and ensures IT expertise for the entire group. This maintains and improves quality standards, offering a wide range of services.
My tasks are therefore very varied. I am responsible for process improvements in the desktop area and take care of resource management and planning. The best thing about my job is the cooperation with my colleagues, our good teamwork and the harmonious, direct and reliable way we deal with each other.
It motivates me greatly to see that our efforts to improve the system make a difference and help many employees. A highlight in my work and for our department will therefore be the introduction of the new IT portal, which will speed up and simplify the processes involved in ordering and replacing hardware.
What I particularly like about group-IT, in addition to my diverse tasks and the great team structure, is the flexibility in terms of flextime, employee participation and the check card as an alternative to the canteen.
I would also like to share a quote that is very close to my heart, "Everyone wants to change the world, but not themselves." I think it's important to work on ourselves to achieve our goals and have a positive impact on the world.
