SPECIAL SYSTEMS – CUSTOMIZED PROFILES
voestalpine BÖHLER Profil GmbH produces near-net-shape special profiles; depending on the dimensions on different systems. While larger cross-sections receive their profile – from billet material – in the open rolling mill, smaller cross-sections – from round wires – are produced on the computer-controlled continuous rolling line.
The material runs through several forming stages or rollers and through a precisely controllable heating system – this is how special profiles from voestalpine BÖHLER Profil fulfil even the highest requirements for forming and tolerances.
State-of-the-art technical processes also guarantee the smallest production tolerances and high process reliability in the further processing of the special profiles. Many of the innovative processes were developed by voestalpine BÖHLER Profil itself.
