These fields of application include highly stress-resistant, safety-critical component parts for tram systems. Key components produced by voestalpine BÖHLER Aerospace, such as turbochargers and engine components for ship construction and energy systems also fall into these fields of application, as do separators for the food industry.
We use materials ranging from corrosion-resistant steels to nickel-base alloys to meet the specific functional requirements. Materials research plays a vital role here as well. Working with our research partners and materials experts, we analyze the thermo-mechanical, thermo-physical and other properties of newly developed steels or nickel-base alloys to attain maximum utilization of the potential for optimization.
