voestalpine cares run: Toghether we move the world!

On March 01, 2024, we were launching the international and Group-wide employee movement initiative voestalpine cares run for the second time – an initiative with which our employees can not only improve their own health, but also do good for people in need. Employees in all Group companies can collect points through various sporting activities – together and worldwide. We convert these points called “cares points” into donations and distributes them to international aid projects. In this way, we move the world together!

voestalpine cares run

This is meant in the truest sense of the word. All around the world, they can work together to collect digital “cares points” while running, walking, hiking, handcycling, or wheelchair driving. Donations are made whenever our employees have reached a certain number of points.

Donations are made whenever voestalpine employees have reached a certain number of points. This year’s selected project partners are the Austrian Red Cross, UNICEF, Ärzte ohne Grenzen/Doctors Without Borders, and Hilfswerk withcharitable projects in Austria, Brazil, and Ukraine.  A target of collected cares will be announced in four stages. A donation is unlocked after each jointly reached stage goal. Together we can raise the maximum sum of 700,000 euros! 

Our goal

The voestalpine cares run was given on March 01, 2024. Cares points are collected for the duration of the initiative, which ends on May 22, 2024. The goal is to have as many employees as possible contribute to release the maximum donation sum.

voestalpine takes its social responsibility seriously. As part of the voestalpine cares run, we want to bundle our social commitment worldwide again this year. Employees are joining forces to raise the maximum amount of money possible.
